Position Responsibilities: The Senior Director of Health and Wellness is accountable for world-class global Health and Wellness (H&W) leadership for the Company by driving alignment, focus and clarity on the H&W platform across the company. The "H&W Champion" will work within the global strategy and framework, to build a H & W pipeline (3 - 5 years) which has full alignment, understanding and commitment across BU's and geographies. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Liaison with various clients (internal/external) to drive/ develop H&W initiatives. Strong connection with President, Health and Wellness to ensure that businesses/ programs support platform.
  • Using a variety of market and research data to translate and bring the importance of cultural and social H&W and their impact on consumers' attitudes, behavior and perceptions.
  • Gaining a comprehensive context for strategies by analyzing a wide range of information in great detail, including demographics, socio-economics and the market for product and market share.
  • Manages development of H&W Team, including assigning projects, coaching, and motivates and develops a strong business team.
  • Ensures opportunities for growth and interaction with BU Sr. Management. Strong commitment to growth and partners with direct report(s) on development plan. Works with Consumer Insights peers in commissioning research from outside organizations to inform strategies, using qualitative methods (i.e. focus group discussions and structured interviews) and quantitative methods (i.e. demographic profiling and questionnaires.)
  • Provides H&W Team with a clearly defined brief containing concise information on the H&W, product, audience and strategy, so that they can develop creative ideas for media channels, promotion across organization.

    • Minimum Bachelors Degree Required, Masters degree preferred.
    • Experience.
      • Brand innovation experience
      • RDQ experience a plus
      • Pharmaceutical and nutritional products experience preferred, commercialized products over the counter, understand clinical, qualifications, regulations, claims, etc.
      • Preference with mergers, acquisition, partnership negotiation/ experience
      • Broad-based advertising, marketing experience, proven record of achieving excellent advertising.
      • Agency experience, including understanding of client / agency relationship and goals.
