Position Responsibilities: As a Senior Product Manager for our client, a multibillion dollar international consumer packaged goods corporation, you will be the owner of your businesses. You will lead the brand communication strategies and develop action plans to accelerate brand growth, strengthen relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, execute high profile innovation and flawlessly execute day to day brand management activities including:
  1. Owning and executing the Marketing Planning Cycle for the brand.
  2. Partnering with Finance, Sales, demand planning and contract manufacturing to ensure goals are achieved (Sales, demand and production planning, promotions, margins, inventory levels, liquidations, etc.).
  3. Working closely with analytics department to generate relevant brand performance metrics, identifying corrective actions on time to ensure brand goals are reached consistently month by month.
  4. Brand liaison with Integrated Marketing participating actively in the development of communication strategies for the brand.
Major Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of the one-year marketing strategy and assist in the development of the long-term marketing strategy.
  • Contribute to the development of brands communication strategy - creative/copy strategy, media plans within overall corporate umbrella.
  • Own, execute and generate learnings on consumer promotions (Direct mail, Catalina, Public Relations, Website, Email, FSI, and Sampling).
  • Actively work with Sales to develop Customer or Channel Specific Marketing Strategies. Assess consequences of retail developments on Marketing.
  • Play an active role in monthly demand planning cycle.
  • Analyze key business drivers providing forward looking strategic insights and action plans. Lead development of improved models/metrics to understand business performance.
  • Lead execution of High Profile, global, new to world innovation projects.

Education Required: MBA pref.
Position Experience:
  • 7 + years marketing experience in large company CPG environment.
  • Proven success in new product development / launches. Communication strategy development.
  • Works well with low supervision, identifying the big picture proactively defining action steps.
  • Strong leadership, managerial presence, negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Solid analytical Skills (Research Assessment, retail reports and data mining, Financial Assessments).
  • Cross-functional team management; Strong interpersonal/communications skills

  • Timeline/critical path management
