Position Responsibilities: " Responsible for analyzing commercial data todevelop deep insights aimed to identify key sales and marketing opportunities for Pernod Ricard USA brands. " Manages the quantitative stages of the opportunity identification from initial data acquisition, through analysis and various sources of data (Retail Account Data, Nielsen and Adams) to communicating results to sales and marketing for use in developing sales and marketing programs. " Will gain an understanding of local spirits market demographics, brand strategies, and retail formats (on premise / off premise). " Will interact with various levels from brand manager, brand VP, Sales Directors and General Manager. Position will support the evolution of Business Analysis and Insights team to become more proactive analytical focus. Position will be expected to work with the larger team in compiling multiple sources of data. This includes analyzing distributor sales data, internal retail account data, demographic data, consumer attitude and usage surveys, external sales tracking resources, and other sources into a concise actionable analysis. Position will require regular interaction with and feedback from central and trade marketing, as well as sales. This position will serve as the quintessential advisor to the marketing and sales groups in providing guidance through key insights derived from internal and syndicated sources of data.

Education Required: MBA pref.
Position Experience: Five to seven years experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods company or Consumer Package Group consulting; managerial experience preferred; Strong experience in marketing / brand analyses and insights.  Highly-skilled in the use of database and spreadsheet programs (Access, Excel, etc.)  Extensive knowledge of Nielsen / NITRO  Comprehensive experience in developing and presenting high impact insights / analyses with actionable recommendations  Demonstrated ability to form and identify relationships between multiple data sources  Ability to think creatively in solving complex problems and delivering insightful and actionable analyses  Capable of the strategic thinking needed to influence brand and communication strategy  Demonstrate ability to act as a business partner and advisor  Proven ability to pay attention to detail  Strong written communication and presentation skills  Ability to work independently and in teams  Strong oral and written communication skills
