Position Responsibilities: The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for designing, creating, and delivering successful marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of the companys products and profits. This position interacts with sales, product management and customer service to ensure that the collateral and other communications reflect the brand of the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Helps identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategies based on knowledge of establishment objectives, product portfolio, market dynamics and cost factors.
  • Evaluates the financial aspects of product development & promotion including expenditures, R&D, certifications/listings to determine profit-loss projections.
  • Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote existing products/categories and new products.
  • Coordinate and participate in promotional activities, vendor meetings and trade shows. Work with advertisers/vendors to market products.
  • Develops marketing and sales tools to drive profitable growth and better decision making including sales presentations, marketing trends and profit analysis.
  • Conducts competitive product analysis and market research, evaluates sales performance, and formulate solutions to convert low performing areas to profitable sales.
  • Coordinate the acquisition, development, and dissemination of marketing intelligence and marketing materials including catalog, internet and various channels.
  • Determine product packaging specifications such as design, layout and color.
  • Collaborate to evaluate our position relative to competition, seeking feedback from customers and championing change to better align for new opportunities.

Position Experience: REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelors degree in a business related field preferably in marketing.
  • 3-5 years in consumer packaged goods industry; plumbing industry experience preferred.
  • Understanding/experience with basic go-to-market strategies
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • 1-3 years Project Management skills
  • Strong communication skills, including writing and editing skills
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to establish and maintain a professional rapport with sales team members and all levels of the organization
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Quick learner and self-starter
